Roberto de Fenti, Japthet Tanganga’s agent, has stated that his client will listen to any summer offer from Napoli regarding the center back’s services.
Tanganga has had a rough few years as a result of injuries and being passed over by many Tottenham management.
After a disastrous loan stint with Augsburg in the first part of the season, the defender has opted to follow in Joe Rodon’s and Harry Winks’ footsteps by transferring to the Championship in the hopes of reviving his career.
The defender has played in nine games since going on loan and is clearly improving with each outing, so it appears to have been a good choice.
In an interview with Southwark News a little over a week ago, Millwall manager Neil Harris gushed about the character and abilities of the Tottenham youth graduate.
Even though his client’s contract with Spurs expires in the summer, De Fanti has now verified that the North London club has the option to extend it by one year.
When the transfer window opens again in June, he added, the 24-year-old will listen to bids from teams in Serie A.
“I don’t really like talking about one of my clients,” the agent said when asked about Napoli’s alleged interest in Tanganga during an interview with Calcio Napoli 24 Live. Tottenham has an option to extend his contract by another year, but if they don’t, he will be available to other clubs. What occurs next should be determined by setting a date.

It would not surprise me in the least if Tanganga defender Di Fanti goes to Italy at the season’s conclusion to join Serie A, as he has been trying to get a transfer there for a while now.
The 24-year-old may decide that Italy is the best place for him to restart his career in football after seeing the success of players like Tomori and Smalling there.
